Al-Zimmiz International participated in the fisheries exhibition held in colombo recently. The chairman of the Al-Zimmiz Mr. HMM. Yazeen says that this exhibition is a milestone of promoting local fisheries products internationally and introduce new technology into our market. The staff of our company gained more knowledge in this fisheries sector from this exhibition. International fisheries Expo Sri lanka 2008 held in Colombo on 07-09 November 2008 at Sri lanka Exhibition & Convention Centre Which is jointly organized by the federation of chamber of commerce and industries of sri Lanka and Ministry of Fisheries and Aquatic resources.


AL-Zimmiz International sponsored Scout leadership program held in Sammanthurai recently. There are 250 scout boys are participated in this residential leadership camp held at the Hijra Muslim Vidyalaya Sammanthurai for three days. Sri Lanka Scout Association and the centre for Peace Studies are arranged this camp. Mr. Yaseen, the chairman of Al-Zimmiz International participated and had over the participant certificates.


As part of the charity work of the Al-Zimmiz international (Pvt) Ltd, the chairman Mr. HMM.Yaseen hand over exercise books to 300 orphans in Al-Uswa boys’ orphanage in Sammanthurai recently.


Al-Zimmiz international (Pvt) Ltd cleaned the sea in the east coast of Kalmunai from the debris which is carried by the Tsunami tidal wave in December 2004. This debris was a long term problem of the poor fishermen in these regions. After the clearance, the margins of fishing are increased. Al-Zimmiz international (Pvt) Ltd carried this work on their social service unit.


AL-Zimmiz Helping to Sri Lankan Students

Al-Zimmiz International (Pvt) Ltd, leading fiberglass fishing boats manufacturing company in Kalmunai entering into new dimension.

It is going to sign agreements with the Leading Higher Education Institute in UK, the Grimsby Institute of Further and Higher education in July to exchange Sri Lankan students to Grimsby to their higher Education in the future. Mr. HMM Yaseen, Chairman of the Al-Zimmiz International (Pvt) Ltd and Prof Daniel Khan, Chief executive, Grimsby Institute of Further and Higher education will sign these agreements.

Mr.Yaseen said, this agreement would help the Sri Lankan students to continue their higher education from the world recognized educational institute in UK in reasonable course fee.

Hon Ministers Visit to Al-Zimmiz International (Pvt) Ltd.

Hon. Minister of Housing and Common Amenities Mrs. Ferial Ashraff visited to Al-Zimmiz International (Pvt) Ltd to observe the production of Newly Designed Sea shark fishing boat Industry at Kalmunai.

Minister appreciated and encouraged the management of the company and promised to divert the government support under the development system of the Small and Medium Industry Development program.
